Levi's® Loop

We have started a new project rebuilding the Levi's® Loop website. This project had to interact with user data located at a 3rd party company. The solution we implemented was to use .Net MembershipProviders and customizing the providers to consume the exposed web services by the 3rd party company to interact with the user data. This allowed us to have an in-depth look into the providers and see how they can be customized for this functionality. Seeing that we will do this again, we developed a library that generically integrates to this company and will allow multiple programs to use this KastimProvider to talk to external systems for user data interaction.

Flat/Room sharing, directory listing and travel packages

We have launched our first phase of this project. The website allows you to list all types of accomodation (from flat sharing, holiday and property rentals to property sales. You can also submit your business in the national directory listing all at no cost. An events calendar allows you to keep up to date with events in and around your area. The new Levi's® brand website is complete and can be viewed at www.levi.co.za. This has been one of the websites from the list of updates Levi's® required and had us develop it for them. This site reflects a more clean approach to their previous website and we are helping Levi's® update and re-develop many of their online strategies for their brand and products.

Levi's® Red for Life

Levi's® Red for Life is a website showing how Levi's® is helping in the fight against HIV & AIDS. You can read more about it and view the different video campaigns. It also features links to their music event Rage for the revolution. Visit the website at www.levi.co.za/rfl.

Levi's® Linebook

The requirement of this project was to allow customers view all products for a specific season and to select the different products they would like to order and create their own customized Linebook. After building an assortment of their choice, customers can then download a real-time generated PDF document containing their assortment of products to order for the upcoming season. Allowing hours of printing and sending each customer a printed Linebook, to be revolutionized into a digital online process that Levi's® has full control over. Different seasons can be created and loaded with specific products and then be made available at their choice.

Levi's® Original Music Mag

A music portal for South African music. This site contains the latest content of music in many different categories and sub categories. The public can look at upcoming gigs, rate articles, view blogs of other members, enter competitions, vote in polls and much much more. This site implements the latest version of Kastim™ Content with many added custom features. Users can view photo galleries added by management and also listen to the lastest music and watch music videos.

Content Management, Product Management System

A customized version of our content management system allows Levi's® to manage their respective website content and products. A security module allows for many levels of user access, segmenting areas of the system for specific users to manage. We have developed an importing system, that allows for exports of data from 3rd party in-systems and then this data is imported the product system. The system allows for compelete managing of their products, dynamically set up sizes and classification of the selected products. User management for Levi consumers are held by an external system which we seemlessly integrated to allowing members of the Music Mag website to authenticate themselves against this data.

Website, Content Management, Document Management System

We were approached to develop a content management system which allows this company to manage all the content on their website, from basic articles to streaming audio and video. They have many different congregations world wide and needed a way for the pastors and leaders to log in and manage/share marketing material and sermon data with each other internally. The product allows for recordings of sermons to be uploaded to different categories and different congregations has different users with their own access rights. They can then upload documents for each configured congregation for leaders to log in and get this material to use for marketing purposes via the developed document management system. Utilising a custom developed media remoting system, we allow for large data transfer of audio and video to be stored on servers in the US and article content on local servers, allowing the company to save on bandwidth usage costs by bypassing local bandwidth restrictions and incurring minimum costs by utilising this method.

Love or Hate

Website, Management System

A rating website that allows users to signup for free and rate items from different categories. Books, people, products and movies are just a few of the categories. Users can also add their own items and say why they Love or Hate the item, then other users rate and give their reasons. This site is built on the .Net framework from Microsoft.

This events company is ranked among the best in the world and required their corporate site to show the sucess and scale of their events. We approached this project with the focus on delivering clear views of their successful jazz event, the Cape Town Jazz Festival. Focus was put on large banners of the events which is the public view and is connected to the content management system for easy update of the website.

Cape Town Jazz Festival

This project required many different modules, from adding news, messages, event image galleries, sub events with image galleries and also video streaming. Show case artists for the event and the stages they will perform on. The website also contains event workshops, travel packages, organizational staff and media accreditation.

Media Accreditation System

Development of an online media accreditation system for media agents to apply for festival accreditation via this online system. Once media management users has been approved to access the system by media management, they can log into a personal section and decide which events they would like to be accreditated for. They complete online forms for specific events and these are then printed, signed and faxed back to the company. After the company reviews these applications, access is granted via their management system, where media management can log in and search for specific applications to approove. Media agents are then notified of status changes to their applications. Agents can then granted access to events via their accreditation status.

Content and Management System

This product was developed to allow espAFRIKA to be able to manage all of their events and websites from a single management system. It furthers allows the management of all media accreditation, content for all websites, staff profiles, an event library, artist library and to set up workshops for events. The events module lets espAFRIKA select stages they configure for specific events, then assign artists to the different stages for an event where they will be featured. Travel packages can be set up to show packages and advertise agencies supplying packages to attend events.
